Rendering Spaces

Rendered space utilization drawings display color-filled space shapes to produce space utilization plans. A setting Space Shape Offset for Rendering, available in the Architectural Preferences, is used to isolate space shapes from drawing components when view rendering modes are used.

Spaces are rendered in the plan drawing. The drawing is generated first, then the view display is set to rendered mode. Space shapes are rendered based on standard part definitions.

The (Place Space Legend) tool produces a legend that indicates which space types compose a utilization plan. The legend can update automatically when a space utilization drawing is opened.
